Shankar M K, Founder, Director, ArSta eco (P) limited

Shankar is a graduate engineer with over 20 years of experience in engineering and management. Through his career, Shankar has had the opportunity of working for organizations of different sizes and in different geographical locations across cultures and hence has a unique ability to see local and think global. His immediate past engagement before starting ArSta eco was with Microsoft Corporation as Group Manager. In his role in Microsoft, Shankar has had the credit of setting up new business and also transitioning business across countries. Shankar has through his career in IT, managed critical project roll outs in the areas of banking, infrastructure management and e-services delivery.

Shankar has always been passionate about sustainability and improving the quality of life of people in the developing world. The shift for Shankar from working in the corporate ecosystem to becoming an entrepreneur happened in 2012 with the founding or ArSta Eco. Shankar strongly believes that as a source renewables are the future and a closed loop model is the answer to long term sustainability.

Shankar in a small way is also active in politics at the local level with the intent of service to the society.

Paul Guire, Director, ArSta eco (P) limited

Paul Guire has for the last 35 years worked for ICAP plc, a global brokerage house for Financial products. In his latest project he is tasked with developing a global Green Bond market to help finance the switch from fossil fuel usage to renewable energy sources. Outside of this capacity Mr Guire seeds and mentors start up businesses in the Renewable energy and Environmental sector with a focus on Developing countries. He is active in promoting Climate Change mitigation and adaptation having qualified, under Mr Al Gore's tutorage in 2014 as a Climate Reality Leader. He lectures regularly on this subject and how sustainable feeds stocks can fuel Global future energy demand.

He is a director of the charity organization Strahlemann Initiaitive with specific responsibility for the Indian based projects
 

 

Karthik Padmanabhan Developer Relations – Lead, Google India

Karthik has been in the Hi-Tech Industry for over 2 decades with companies such as Microsoft, IBM and now Google, has built expertise in product management,business development, growth hacking and developer relations.Karthik is currently part of Google’s global developer relations team focussed on the Indian developer and startup ecosystem.
Karthik’s current role is to help Google in India to engage, enable and empower developers and startups to build high quality Web and Mobile apps for the emerging next billion smartphone users Karthik has had a stint for ~ 3 years as a “Social Entrepreneur”. He co-Founded and ran an educational services startup ThinkVarsity Career School, that offered vocational courses / programs for enhancing employability of the youth hailing from semi-urban and rural places in India. Karthik is an avid networker, mentor, coach and speaker in the startup and developer ecosystem. Karthik is helping his family set-up an organic farm with dwelling units based on “sustainable living” methodology.
