It all began as a challenge between friends over a cup of coffee. The challenge was to quit the corporate world, move to rural India and do something to help the rural poor have a better life.

ArSta eco was founded by Shankar MK in the year 2014. Shankar quit his corporate job at Microsoft and setup the first ArSta eco carbon plant at Tiptur in rural South India.

ArSta eco has grown to become an innovation based Agri Residue to Carbon producer. Our product applications include areas that replace fossil fuels/inputs contributing to a circular and sustainable economy.
